1/4 c organic popcorn kernels
2 tbs organic unrefined coconut oil
1/2 tsp finely ground salt
Turn the stove to medium low. Add the oil to a pot, and allow it to melt; then add the salt, followed by the popcorn kernels. Swirl the kernels in the salt and oil, then cover with a lid. Allow the popcorn to pop until you no longer hear it popping. Take the pot off the stove immediately after this and put into a bowl. If you’d like to add extra seasonings to your popcorn, do it at this point. Just sprinkle it over the popped popcorn. If you want to put melted butter on your popcorn, you can put your popcorn in your bowl, melt the butter in the pot by itself, and then pour it onto the popcorn and mix it. Enjoy!!!
If you're feelin' extra froggy, you can add a small sprig of rosemary to the oil right before putting the popcorn kernels in. Allow the rosemary to cook with the popcorn, and throw the sprig away after transfering the popcorn to a dish.
It tastes guuuuuuuuud!
Another way you can add rosemary flavor to your popcorn is by cooking the rosemary in some butter on LOW heat (butter burns easier than coconut oil). Then you just pour the melted rosemary butter onto the popcorn. Be sure to throw the rosemary sprig out.
